G-SHOCK Releases a Pair of ’90s-Inspired Purple & Black Watches

Casio‘s G-SHOCK watch line has just released a pair of watches that were inspired by the bold colors of ’90s outdoors clothing. Arriving on the DW-5600THS and GA-2100THS, hits of purple and blue make its way onto the black base of the watches. G-SHOCK was careful not to overdo it as they’ve only included small hits of the purple and blue in keys areas of the watch, as seen on the watch face trim and rubber strap accents.

Taking the retro theme a step further, both G-SHOCK watches will come with additional straps; the DW-5600THS sees a sports-ready nylon Velcro strap while the GA-2100THS comes with a blue and red replacement band. The use of purple carries over to the packaging as well, as both the watch box and cardboard box have been treated to the blue and purple makeover.
